At the Leinster 10 mile, incorporated in the Battle of Clontarf 10 Mile, Anto Doran lead the Clonliffe crew home taking Leinster bronze in 55.27. The men’s team of Anto, Ger Clerkin (59.32) and John Torsney (66.33) took 35 silver. Whilst the M50s (Noel Cullen, Richie Barr and Mick Gleeson) placed 5th. Individually Anto was 3rd M40, Ger Clerkin 3rd M45.

Also today, Easter Monday in the Dundalk 5k Sean Doran was 3rd in 15.47 and a big jump forward by Malcom Kiplagat 6th place in a 16.11 PB.
At the Moynalty AC 4 mile Aisling Killilea was 9th woman (29.04).
Further afield Eoin Taggart in Monday’s Boston Marathon record a time of 2:34.46.
In Florida on Saturday Emma Campbell made her 10k debut, her first race in some time, recording a time of 46.59.
