Niamh Kelly recorded an excellent 800 pb of 2.11.14 in winning tonight’s Dublin grade A race at a windy Morton Stadium. That time moves Niamh into 10 position on the Clonliffe all-time list. In grade B Alannah Cooley ran her 800 race in a couple years and also put in a fine performance finishing 3rd into 2.21.19 with Alibhe Morgan 6th in that in 2.29.40.
The sole Clonliffe man in the 800s was Peter Bissett recording a time of 2.19.54.
Marcus Lawler took in tonight’s 100, unfortunately the race was run into a strong – 3.0 headwind, Marcus was 2nd in the final in 10.85, having earlier ran 10.95 in his heat. Also in the 100 in grade B Mark Murray was 4th (11.87) and in grade D Kamil Tomko ran 13.48.
Sarah McDonnell finished 6th in the women’s 100 grade C (13.64). Caoime Del Bello was 5th in the long jump (3.89). In the javelin Stephen Bailey was 3rd (37.43) and Joe Gibbons in the 600g threw 13.93.
