U/13 4 x 100 relay boys win Nationals (plus updates)

The U13 Boys put in an impressive performance in Tullamore in Day 4 of the National Championships to take the Title

In heat 2 they won very comfortably with a time of 53.59.

In the final there was no doubt as to who the U13 champions would be with Isaac storming down the home straight unchallenged to take the victory.

Well done to Rhys Daly,  Channing O’Shea,  Max Bamford,  Issac O’Neill and Rhys Jenkins on theor National Title. 

Well done also to their very dedicated coaches,  Brendan,  Colin,  Deirdre,  Paul and Trudy.

In the B Championships today Lucy Fagan set a PB in the U13 Girls 600m in heat 1 in a time of 2.00.36 in 7th. Aoife Fowler finished 13th in a pb of 2.10.80. In Heat 3, Ava Fagan finished 4th also with a pb of 1.49.55 and Grace Byrne finished 13th in that heat in 2.13.59

In the U15 Girls Shot Putt, Savannah O’Neill took 5th place with a throw of 5.89

Kate Gill ran the 800m in this o Championship taking 5th in Heat 2 in 2.33.37.

On Saturday 12th July in the searing heat, Day 3 of the National Championships took place

In the U14 Boys 1500m Braxton O’Shea finished 7th in 4.31.42 with Conor Kenny finishing in 9th in 4.35.41

In U16 Girls Romi Banim finished 3rd in her heat and a q to the final in 25.93 where she finished 5th in 26.16.

In u17 boys 200m Sam O’Reilly finished 4th in his heat in 23.87.

Matthew Keogh finished 6th in the High Jump with a jump of 1.70

In the Javelin Conor Tynan finished 9th with a throw of 39.37 and Conor Phelan 11th with his throw of 22.98

In the U17 Girls 1500m,  Sophie Kernan finished 18th in 5.23.20

In the U18 Boys  200m James Lynch finished 6th in heat 3 in  23.67

In the u19 Boys Aidan Benjacar finished 5th in the 1500m in 4.07.70 and Jack Quinn finished 10th in 4.19.19
