Over 100 juveniles took to the beautiful Cross Country course in Santry Demense for this morning’s clonliffe Harriers Juvenile club Cross country Championships. It was a fine show of black and amber and many of our newest members taking to racing very well.
The U9 Boys and Girls started the day in their 500m race and were very impressive.
Results were U9 Girl Club Cross Country Champion was Louise O’Connor, 2nd was Chloe O’Brien and 3rd Zoe O’Regan.
Our U9 Boys Club Cross Country Championship is Senan Blake, 2nd Charlie O’ Moore and 3rd Gene Kearney.
U10 and U11 Boys and girls ran their 700m together with some very promising runs.
U10 girls Championship is Leah Horgan , 2nd Darcy Creed and 3rd Ciara Bannon.
U10 Champ is Charlie Rooney, 2nd Jack Nolan and 3rd Frankie Walsh Guinan
U11 girls Champion is Ellie Walsh, 2nd Ivy Haughey, 3rd Olivia Donohoe.
U11 Boys, 1st Eoin O’Sullivan, 2nd John Curtain, Kavish Kupta
U12 Girls had one girl who ran very strong with the U13s. Well done to Bethany Hollywood
U12 Boys was won by Lennie Keane, 2nd Charlie O’Regan and 3rd Luke Kernan
U13 girls was a fantastic battle to the line but with a shoulder dip was won by Ava Fagan, 2nd Adrianna and 3rd Sarah Thomas.
U13 boys was won with a very impressive run from Finn McGurrin, Max Bamford a strong 2nd followed closely Ruairi Donnelly for 3rd
U14 Girls was won by Nessa Byrne who is showing fine form, 2nd home was Tess and 3rd was Aliyadh.
U14 Boys, 1st Luke Tracey, 2nd Seamus Phelan and 3rd Sam Steenson.
U15 Girls was won by Kate Gill, 2nd Alex Wallace and 3rd Geve Duncan.
U15 Boys Conor Kenny 2nd Mark Kelly and 3rd Braxton O’Shea who just nipped the medal on the ever improving Hayden Kenny
U16 Boys- Darragh Nicholson Canny and 2nd Dominic.
Well done to each and every one of you today. A brilliant Club Championship. Thanks also to our parents and coaches who stepped in to help out.
