Clonliffe extend our best wishes to the Irish teams competing in Sunday’s European cross-country Championships at Lagoa in Portugal, in particular our two Clonliffe athletes, Tom Breslin in the U/20 race and Efrem Gidey in the senior men. There is a large Clonliffe Harriers travelling party and no doubt they and the whole Irish contingent will make themselves heard in lending support to the Irish athletes. There are strong teams entered across all events so with any luck Ireland’s medal winning tradition at these championships will continue.
