Big PB’s were recorded at tonight’s Armagh international 5K by the Clonliffe senior team. Fintan Kerins in 32nd ran 14.10 a PB by some 16 seconds. Ben Coughlan ran 14.38 in 77th, taking 23 seconds off his previous best and Sean Carrigg, who has been running PB’s for fun of late, took 24 seconds off his previous best as he ran a time of 14.49 in 100th position. These were the scoring 3 on the team that finished in 6th position. Unfortunately Colm Rooney fell victim of the tight start and took a heavy fall. Lee Duddy ran 15.44 and Cian Murray 16.07.
Race winner was the European U/23 cross country champion Nick Griggs (CNDR) who ran a blistering 13.37.
