Clonliffe Harriers prevailed in the team competition, which is calculated as a mixed team, at the Lusk 4 mile this afternoon. The team were led home in 2nd place by Ben Guiden who recorded a time of 19.22, next in was Malcom Kiplagat in 7th place (20.40). Maxime Bernard, 16th (22.22), although had not been entered as Clonliffe and was not therefore calculated in the team results. The 3rd scorer in 22nd was Oran Finnegan (22.49), the race distance was about 26 miles shorter than Oran’s usual race distance! The team was completed by Niamh Quinn, who was a fine 5th woman overall, in a time of 25.14. The combined team score was 99, enough to secure victory over defending champions Raheny Shamrocks.
