Friday night, August 1st, Ian Guiden took 2nd place in the Carlingford 5K Road Race in a time of 14.46. Sean Doran was 13th (15.40) and Damien Prendergast 48th (16.49), these 3 made up the Clonliffe team that placed 3rd. Also in the race was young Mark Kelly who clocked a time of 18.03.
Also on Friday night Sergiu Ciobanu was 3rd in the Kinsale Regatta 5 Mile in a time of 25.07 and at the Streets of Athboy 5k Ger Clerkin was 17th in 16.39. Missed from last weekend, Sean Doran finished 3rd in the Duleek 10K on July 27th in 33.46 with Ger Kirwan 12th (37.52).
