Clonliffe athletes were out in good numbers in Carlow this weekend for the Leinster track and field championships for U/20, senior and masters. The Clonliffe crew took several titles and medals back to Santry over the course of the two-day Championships. Notable Leinster senior titles were won over the course of the weekend by Marcus Lawler 200 in a time of 21.29 into a 1.1 headwind, Rolus Olusa winning the 110 hurdles and in the throws Simon Galligan won the hammer, Eoin Sheridan the discus and Grace Casey the javelin. Craig Duffy clocked another 100 PB, an excellent wind legal 10.55, consolidating his 4th position on the Clonliffe all-time list, in his U/23 heat and then took silver in the final.
