The Clonliffe Harriers FIT4LIFE group wrapped up their Spring/Summer training block on Wednesday night with a 5km H/Cap run. On a smashing sunny evening in the park a dozen or so folks lined up for the 5k, with a superb breakthrough effort by Leann Macken leading us home in style. Next over the line was Fainche Ni Fhatharta, who as a recent enough joiner, has mad great progress of late and finally in the bronze position was the ever-consistent John Lyons. All participants we happily provided a range of post run treats to get the sugar levels back up!!

Our usual end of term social night is on in the club bar on the 20th August, and then a few weeks break from organised training before we start back again on 8th September @ 7pm for our Autumn/Winter training block (more on that over the next week or so).
Training on Monday and Wednesday evenings, we cater for all ranges of beginners’ ability from walk/joggers to steady runners and everything in between. So, whether you’re an ex-runner looking to get going again or someone starting out entirely from scratch we’ve got a group for you.
