Athboy, Co Meath proved to be a happy hunting ground for four of the Clonliffe throwers at yesterday’s (March 8) Father Murphy AC throws competition. Simon Galligan took 1st place in the senior men’s hammer with a best of 59.98. 1st place also in the discus for Eoin Sheridan (51.29). Also in action where the Thompson brothers, younger brother Dylan was 1st in the boys U/14 hammer with a best of 26.63 whilst Ethan in the U/18 boys hammer likewise took 1st place with a best of 56.10. Not bad at all, 4 out of 4!
