The 123.ie national senior indoor championships take place this weekend at the NIA, Abbottstown. The action on Saturday commences at 12 noon with the women’s 400 heats and concludes at 5:10 PM with the men’s 4 x 200 relay. In between there are the middle distance heats, heat in the 200 and 60 hurdles (if needed). Saturdays finals are the men and women’s 200, men and women 60 hurdles and men and women’s 4 x 200 relays. The field events on Saturday are the high jump, triple Jump and WFD for both men and women.
Sunday’s action gets underway at 11:30 AM with the heats of the 60s and the men’s pole vault. It will be a day of non-stop action featuring finals in the walks, 3000, 60, 1500, 400, 800 and 4 x 400 relays. Saturday’s field events are the pole vault, shot and long jump competitions.
