Pair of silvers to close successful National juvenile indoors

Eugenia Bateson: The juvenile National Indoor Championships came to a close today with another successful day for our Juvenile section 

First medal of the day went to U18 Jaheim Humphrey in the Shot with a throw of 15.11 for 2nd place.

The 2nd silver went to the U14 Boys 4 x 200m relay team with impressive runs from Rhys Daly,  Channing O’Shea,  Max Bamford and Isaac O’Neill. 

In the 1500m Conor Kenny had a brilliant race finishing 5th in a time of 4:25.51.  Also in the 1500m, U19 girls, Isla Duncan had another great performance finishing 5th overall in 4:47.59 with Goda Buivydyte taking a break from the books as she makes a return to competition,  finishing 7th in 4:47.59

Hannah Ni Mhuircheartaigh finished 7th in the U15 Girls Triple Jump with a jump of 9.33.

Matthew Keogh finished 6th in his U18 High Jump today with a jump of 1.60.

Again, well done to all our Athletes and coaches.

Focus will now turn to Schools for those in secondary school and to the Dublin Outdoor Championships.  A great start to 2026. Keep up the hard work.  It does pay off!!
