Friday, 27th, a big Clonliffe crew at the St Cocos 5K in Kilcock, Co Kildare, led home in 7th place by Sean O’Leary (14.52), 10th Ben Guiden 15.07, 13th Malcom Kiplagat 15.24 and 32nd Evan Lynch (16.02), these 4 took the men’s team win. The women’s team finished 4th – Alannah Cooley (18.46), Aoife O’Reilly (19.03), Ailbhe Morgan (19.44) and Jess Laflamme Yonkman (19.49). Harriet Kenny was 2nd U/20 (21.42).

Sunday, the 29th, the National 5 mile took place in the Phoenix Park. Karl Nolan was the 1st Clonliffe athlete home in 29th (27.05), the team of Karl, Tom Sherlock (27.21), Ger Clerkin (28.16) and Sean Doran (29.15) finished in 5th place. The M35 plus team 9f Karl, Tom and Ger took team bronze. Carl narrowly missed out on an individual national medal as he placed 4th in the M40 category. Full Clonliffe results:
