The 2025 Brother Schools Cross Country event takes place in Trinity Sports Grounds on Santry Avenue on Wednesday, October 1 featuring both primary school and secondary school programme for boys and girls. Entries from schools are now coming in with only 14 days until the closing date. If your schools has received an invitation please make sure to enter sooner rather than later. Athletes from Clonliffe Harriers who’s schools may decide not to enter, may, with school permission, enter as individuals on the day.
Clonliffe Harriers are delighted to have the support once again of Brother Ireland, who have been the loyal supporter of this event since 2009. Over the course of those 16 years the Brother schools cross country has grown in popularity from attracting some 700 athletes for that 1st event to almost 2000 last year. The expansion of the programme to include races for primary schools: 4th class, 5th class and 6th classes has provided opportunities for young athletes to come along and experience, in many cases, their first cross country races.
With a full secondary school programme, for boys and girls, for minor, junior, intermediate and senior there is full card therefore of 14 races to look forward to on October 1st.
