Saturday, the 13th, saw the Ratoath half marathon take place where there was a substantial Clonliffe presence of almost 20 athletes. Anto Doran ran a fine race to finish 9th in 74.28. The men’s team of Anto, Ger Clerkin 17th, Ger Kirwan 43rd and Scott Crowley 90th finished 2nd team.

Also on Saturday Sean Doran finished in 5th position in the Dromiskin 5K (15.36).
Sunday: The Charleville Half Marathon: Sergiu Ciobanu was 9th, 1st M40 (71.15) and Liam Roarty 52nd (77.67).

Also over the weekend Edel Maguire was competing in the British Masters championships where she won the W65 400 in 70.76. Weather conditions in Derby for the championships were to say the least atrocious!
