Although the club’s weekend activities revolved mainly around the 2nd round of the indoor league in Athlone and the U/20s at the European clubs cross country in Portugal there was some additional activity at home and away.

On the roads yesterday, Sunday the 8th, Sean Doran took 2nd place in the Clogherhead Seaside 5k in 15.44. Also yesterday at the Rathcoffey 5K David Comiskey ran a time of 21.08 placing 37th.
Meanwhile in the USA Gavin Cougle was an action for the University of Wyoming at the Colorado Indoor classic in Boulder on Saturday where he ran 6.95 in the 60 preliminaries, but did not make the cut to qualify for the final.
