It’s been another busy weekend in the world of Clonliffe Harriers, see separate reports on records falling, the Grand Prix series, All Ireland schools track and field and today’s juvenile club Championships, aside from those other Harriers were very much in action. On Friday night Cathal Doyle lined up for the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meet the Irena Szewinska Memorial in Bydgoszcz, Poland where he finished a fine 3rd position in a time of 3.34.67, more importantly he gathered in a sack full of ranking points that will massively improve his ranking position in the race for Tokyo.
Missed on May 21 in Cardiff Luca Logue-Fonseca ran a 100 PB of 10.60 (+0.6).
