Clonliffe at last night’s NIA Track & Field

The final track and field meet of 2025 took place at the national indoor arena last night, the NIA live series. There were a number of Clonliffe athletes in action at both the juvenile and senior level. In the senior program it was mainly the club’s sprinters taking part. In the 60 Tom Moran scored a double – winning heat 1 in 7.55 and in series 2 also winning his heat in 7.60. Evan Storey was 2nd in his heat in series 1 7.48 and in series 2 was 3rd in an identical time of 7.48. Christopher Lynch took 3rd place in his heat 7.54 and in series 2 was 1st in 7.45. Sam O’Reilly clocked 7.37 and in series 2 7.39. Colin Daly in series 2 clocked 8.33, Colin also took in the long jump placing 8th (4.68). Stephen Lyons was 4th in the men’s mile in a time of 4.45.48.

In the juvenile section boys U/12 60 in heat 1 James Lynn was 4th and Stefans Bellamy 5th whilst Fionn Thompson was 4th in his race. In the U/14 girls 60 Elise Fevrier was fought with Daisy Asante Keenan 5th. Reece Daly took 6th place in the U/14 boys 800 and Muireann Spence took 11th in the U/14 girls 800
