Clonliffe Harriers are saddened to hear of the passing today, May 14th, of our former athlete and coach Dan “DK” Kennedy in Edenderry, Co Offaly. Dan was a sprinter for Clonliffe Harriers in the 1960s, indeed in 1965 he won the national 100 yards in Santry Stadium. After he retired he coached in Clonliffe and was also an athletics coach and head of PE at Wesley College. The club extends our sympathies to Dan’s family and friends.
