Aside from yesterday’s National 5K it was a relatively quiet weekend’s activities for Clonliffe athletes. Today a handful of the clubs athletes were in Tullamore for the Spring Open Meet, Bilal Kanimodo in heat 1 of the 100 finished 5th in a time of 11.02, in series 2 he ran 11.09. Adam Festus in series 1 of the 111.50 and went quicker in series 2 (11.40). Snezana Bechtina was 2nd in her 100 heat in series 1 in 12.83 and in series 2 finished 8th in 13.24. Finally Grace Casey was 2nd in the javelin with a best of 42.67.
On the roads the Fastlane 10k David Dineen 41.17 and Andrew Eustace 45.14. Dermot Hart in the Aisling Murphy 4 mile 35.00.
