At a very successful fundraiser on Friday night the Friends of Morton Games was launched by Clonliffe Harriers club president Mick Kearney. ‘Friends of Morton Games 2026’, gives athletics fans the opportunity to support this World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze international track and field meet. The contribution to become a Friend is €100, by becoming a Friend you are making your own individual contribution towards the continuation of international athletics at Morton Stadium, the home of Irish athletics.
Since its inception in 2011 Morton Games has brought some of the world’s best athletes compete in the Morton Stadium for what is Dublin city’s only international track and field meet, since 2023 the meet has been awarded World Athletics Continental Tour bronze status.
In addition to supporting Morton Games by becoming a friend, your name will appear on the Morton Games website as a Friend of Morton Games and you will also receive 2 complimentary tickets to the big night on Friday July 10th at the Morton Stadium.
