The final graded meet of the season took place at Morton Stadium tonight in fairly windy conditions, although it was a humid night. There was a good contingent of Clonliffe athletes taking part. There was a win in the men’s 1500 A race for Fintan Kerins in a nippy 3.52.45, having received excellent pacemaking from Colm Rooney. Also in that race Cian Murray finished 16th (4.10.10). In grade B Edy Blacgue clocked 4.12.75 in finishing 5th with Stephen Lyons 11th (4.19.60). Siad Adbiwahab Muhudin was 2nd in grade C 4.21.54. 5th place for Mohamoud Mohamed Hashi (4.27.32) and 14th Douglas Oliveria Teixeira (4.30.14). Dev Kartha ran 6.00.15 in taking 16th in grade D.
The women’s 1500 grade A saw Laura Tuite finished 8th (4.44.11) just in front of a fast finishing Isla Duncan (4.45.88) with Alannah Cooley a couple of places further back in 4.50.99. Chloe Heaslip was 7th in grade B (5.03.30) and in grade C 3rd place for Katie Halpin (5.29.13).
Eoin Sheridan took 1st place in the discus with a best of 51.68 with Jaheim Humphrey 2nd (42.68). Edel Maguire was 4th in the women’s high jump (1.30).
In the 100s Snezana Bechtina was 4th in grade A (13.04). In grade B 3rd place for Grainne Diamonds Ebs (12.89), 6th in grade C was Niamh Tenanty (14.04). Maggie Szuta took 1st place in grade D (13.65) with Edel Maguire 6th (15.05).
In the men’s 100 Brandon Muchini was 4th in grade A (11.30), Christopher Lynch took 7th (11.61). In grade C Eamonn Fahey ran 11.55 and in grade D Madhav Kalra 12.53.
