It’ll be another busy weekend for Clonliffe Harriers with a double weekend of national indoor championships. On Saturday, March 14th, the national U/20 and U/23 Indoor Championships take place at TUI Athlone. The Clonliffe entries in the U/20 Championships include in the middle distance events Jack Quinn and Matei Ursachi 1500 men and in the women’s 1500 a Clonliffe trio of Emily Bolton, Isla Duncan and Lorraine O’Connor, Edy Blague in the men’s 800 and Goda Buivydyte in the women’s, the men’s 400 Finlay McGill and in the men’s shot Jaheim Humphrey.
Whilst at U/23 level Luca Logue-Fonseca is entered in both the men’s 60 and 200, also entered in the 60 men’s is Sean Harman, Adam Festus and Brandon Muchini.

Then on Sunday the 15th at the same venue is the national Masters indoor championships where the Clonliffe entry includes Diarmuid Doyle 1500, George Maybury 800 & 1500 and Niall Sherlock 800, 1500 & 3000, in the sprints Thomas Moran 60 and 200, Colin Daly 60 and long jump, also in the field events Niall Allen WFD and shot, Andrej Dmitrenko pole vault and high jump.
The Clonliffe master women taking part include Snezana Bechtina who is entered in the 60 and 200, Edel Maguire 200, 400 & high jump, Katherine Markey 200, Fionnulata Smith 400 & 800, Vivian Ofafor WFD and shot.
