News this week of recognition for two of the club’s athletes. At the Dublin Athletics awards night on Friday Katie Halpin received the Dublin Graded 1500 grade C second-place award which was presented to her by vice chair of the Dublin Athletics Board Charlie O’Neill. Also this week sprinter Emily Jachna was selected for the Athletics Ireland Athletics Performance Pathway Programme. This is a year long programme to assist and develop U/20 athletes with the potential to succeed as senior international athletes.
