The European Masters T&F starts in Madeira today (9th October) with over 4000 athletes competing, including a strong Clonliffe contingent: Edel Maguire, Snezana Bechtina, Stephen Harkness, Philip O’Doherty, Joe Gibbons and Michael Omakobia.

On Sunday 19th October, Abbotstown hosts the Autumn Open XC, which includes Masters races. Entries close midday on 12th October. Selection for the 5 Nations Masters XC (Leeds 15th November) is based on the Autumn Open XC results. See AIEntries to enter.
The BHAA Cross-Country league kicks off at Maynooth College on Sat. 18th October with a further 8 races scheduled over the winter months, and with Age-grade prizes at stake, invariably attracts a strong Masters contingent. See BHAARaces for fixtures and entry details.
Also just to put on your radar the Dublin Masters cross country championships will take place in St Anne’s Park very early next year – January 4th.
