In this morning’s Valencia 10k road race Efrem Gidey took five seconds off his own Irish record, set in this race in 2025. In finishing in 12th position this morning Efrem ran a new Irish record of 27.38. the race was won by Sweden’s Andreas Aimgrem in a new European Record of 26.45.
