Athletes are asked to wear their bib numbers to facilitate the race results. A prize giving and refreshments will take place in the Clonliffe Club House after the race.
The Walker Cup is one of the top Clonliffe club races. The first race taking place in 1966. The race is a four mile handicap race (it is a sealed handicap so all runners start together), the Walker Cup was presented to Clonliffe by the Walker family in honour of Charles and George Walker who had both been National 4 Mile champions in the 1920s and were both members of the Clonliffe National Cross Country winning team in 1925.
