The magnificent Edel Maguire has secured a 2nd world Masters title today in Daegu, South Korea. Edel took gold in the W65 400 in a time of 67.78. This was a new World Masters W65 championship record, European record and Irish record.
Edel has had an unbelievable championship this past week winning W65 high jump gold (1.36m), W65 200 silver (29.86) and W65 100 bronze (14.51). Furthermore she has set Irish Masters W65 records in all 4 events.
