On Friday evening May 15, at 8 PM, the club will hold the Morton Games fundraising table quiz and also launch the Friends of Morton Games. Tables of 4 are now available at a cost of €50 and can be booked through the club online shop via the link below.
In addition to booking a table club members support would be very much appreciated by the donation of prizes for the grand raffle to take place on the night. All donations gratefully appreciated. Please contact Eugenia on 0861722451.
Once again questions will be set by quizmaster extraordinaire Peter Bissett, the night promises to be a night of fun and a great opportunity for club members to socialise and also have a couple of drinks (please leave the car behind). It will also assist the club with the costs involved in hosting and promoting the Morton Games now in its 16th year and part of the World Athletics Continental tour. The annual international athletics meet is the highlight of the Clonliffe Harriers year, however, it is a very substantial undertaking for the club both timewise and financially. By buying a table or indeed making a contribution, and also by donating a spot prizes.
Also on the night the Friends of Morton Games 2026 will be launched by club president Michael Kearney giving club members and indeed members of the wider athletics community the opportunity to further support this fantastic international track and field event.
