Roads round up: In Dublin’s Phoenix Park this morning, July 19th, there was a small group of Clonliffe athletes taking part in the national 10 mile. The first Clonliffe man home was Maxime Bernard in 59.53. 1st Clonliffe woman was Emma Campbell 72.48. Others: Brian O’Reilly 65.08, David Comiskey 73.39, Brian O’Callaghan 80.19, Sarah Owens 81.02, Sarah Stevenson 81.10, Liam O’Hanlon 1:39.02, Leanne Machen 1:44.02, Julianne McKeigue 1:47.44.
Also on Sunday the 19th Lee Maginnis was 1st in the GreyAbbey 5k trail race in co. Down in 22.30. Lee followed that up on Tuesday the 21st by winning the Louth county M45 1500 (4.57.65).
On Friday, July 17, Sergiu Ciobanu was 2nd in the Bob Burke 4 mile in Fermoy, Co Cork in a time of 20.08.
On Wednesday, July 15, Sean Doran took 3rd place in the Oldcastle 5K in Co Meath in a time of 16.29.
