The cross country season is underway. This Sunday, October 4, the Dublin novice cross country championships take place in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, proceeded earlier in the day by the Dublin juvenile (even ages) cross country championships.
There are strong teams entered in both the men and women’s novice Championships, with the men’s team looking particularly strong, both in terms of quantity and quality. The novice women’s race over 4,000m takes place at 1.50 PM with the men at 2.15 PM (6,000m). The course in the Phoenix Park is expected to be dry, spikes wise 5mm should do the job perfectly, but as always it will be a good idea to pack 9mm, just in case. The course map is below, parking in the Phoenix Park is always problematic so if at all possible please car pool.

Athletes please note that you do not check-in, please meet the men or women’s captain at the venue 75 minutes before your race. Do not forget your club vest!
