At the latest round of the Dublin graded meets held in breezy conditions at the DSD campus at the foot of the Dublin Mountains today (June 13th) a half-dozen or so Clonliffe athletes competed. Laura Tuite ran a 3000 pb of 10.18.09 in finishing 2nd in grade A. Chloe Heaslip took 5th place in grade B clocking a time of 10.56.12 and in grade C Emma Campbell was 4th (11.35.58).

Carl Fleming was 3rd in grade D (12.34.31).
In the women’s 800 Alanna Cooley finished 2nd in grade A in a time of 2.22.51. Whilst in the men’s grade B Edy Blacque was 3rd (2.03.99)

In the 200s: Brandon Muchini made his debut winning grade D at a canter as he clocked an impressive 22.97. Snezana Bechtina was 1st in grade C women’s (26.63) and in grade D 2nd place for Maggie Szuta (27.40) and 6th Katherine Markey (31.43).
Eoin Sheridan was 1st in the discus with a best of 53.84, achieved in round 1.
Meanwhile at the Lee Valley meet in London Marcus Lawler ran a 200 season’s best winning in 20.91 (+1.8) having earlier clocked 10.64 (+0.4) in the 100, whilst Sean Harman recorded a PB of 10.92 (+0.4).
