It was a very busy weekend on the roads for Clonliffe athletes. The Dublin city half marathon with some 12,500 runners included almost a huge black and amber clad presence led home in 7th place by Ian Guiden, on his half marathon debut, who ran a fine 65.50. Other notable performances included a one half minute PB by Eoin Maguire as he clocked a time of 73.40 (not listed on results below), a PB by the first Clonliffe lady home Alannah Cooley, 1:28.24 and a huge 6 minute PB for Sarah Owens of 1:46.13.

At the Milan half marathon Declan Power placed 72nd in 1:16.48 and Bronagh Greaney ran 1:53.20.
In the Belfast Marathon also today Patrick Boyle 2:58.00 and Colm O’Donoghue clocked a time of 3:13.19.
In the Limerick Marathon Josef Szpara 2:56.31, Alan Fowler 4:03.51, Joe Fowler 4:03.52 and Carl Fleming 4:28.3.
Yesterday, Saturday the 2nd at the Tinryland Village half marathon Noel O’Dwyer ran 1:33.45 and Alan Worrall 1:50.07.
